Vermont Adventure Club member Pete Brady has traveled to Africa several times in the past few years to support the work of the 52 Kids Foundation.

 

The Foundation's goal is to enable disadvantaged rural children in Uganda to participate and succeed in tertiary level education, business, or any other field that will enable them to break the cycle of poverty they were born into.

 

Pete has helped construct a water system and clinic for the people of the Kamuli District in Uganda and plans to return later this year to continue this work.
