Radiant Lake Trips
The Vermont Adventure Club has taken five trips to
Radiant Lake over the last decade. Three of threse trips
were "duff" trips -- fishing, beer and a little whitewater
on the Battery Rapids thrown in. Two trips, in 2005
and 2007, were river trips using Radiant as an endpoint.
Why Radiant Lake? First, it's a beautiful lake located
in the northern portion of Algonquin Park, Ontario.
Second, and more important, is that we have access
to an incredible cabin owned by Tony Lee (a VAC
member). Tony has been generous enough to let us
use the cabin over the years. The cabin sits at the
inlet of the Petawawa River, with a commanding view
down the lake. A great place.
